Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
As a condition of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding, ATA Bus is required to adopt a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. The Department of Transportation’s DBE program was created to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of DOT-assisted contracts and to assist in the development of minority and women-owned small businesses so that they can compete successfully in the marketplace outside the DBE program.
